At the age of twelve, Manus J. Hand, received a grant from the state of Wyoming Bicentennial Commission and the Governor’s office to travel around the United States and Canada presenting honorary citizenship in the state to towns, counties, townships, and cities named “Wyoming.” Collection contains correspondence, maps, publications, photographs, slides, memorabilia, and artifacts regarding Hand’s travels and experiences.
